I spent 3 years in High School learning Graphic Communications. I have two PrintED certifications and was the valedictorian of my vocational school in 2006. In college, I was a Graphic Design major for one year, and then God called me into the ministry. I changed my major to Pastoral Ministries, but I didn't throw out my graphics training, instead completing a minor in Graphic Design.
For the next three years I was in charge of the Yearbook department and the lead Graphic Designer at Pensacola Christian Academy. Currently, I work at MGX Copy in San Diego, a national printing company, as one of their lead prepress specialists. I see hundreds of church flyers, brochures, and posters every month, many of them downright terrible. It's this persistent problem of bad church marketing that this project is intended to solve.
Combine the above with my knowledge of church operations, purpose, and vision, and I know how to best implement media into our churches to the glory of God. I hope that you enjoy this blog and will consider contributing your comments and opinions to help make this one of the best resources for churches looking to improve their media ministries.
